What a long day while waiting for a job offer. At the night of 25 March 2019, I jogged along Aldrich Bay promenade, coincidentally bumped into Johnny Chang, an ex-colleague from PCA. He has given me an idea to travel to Sydney. Next morning, Cathay Pacific was offering cheap air ticket, immediately I called my university lecturer, Dr Ng, who is doing research in the University of Sydney, asking for guidance. He offered to book hostel and made itinerary suggestions. As a result I bought ticket to depart on 2 April and return on 8 April. The flight departed at 2355 on 2 April from Hong Kong, a 9-hour midnight flight. Could not sleep well on the plane. Upon touching down at 1200 local time, while feeling still sleepy and tired, Dr Ng immediately brought me to have lunch (Thai food) and walked around the city, covering The Rocks, opera house, china town, Hyde Park and Queen Victoria Building.
